A 501(c)(3) non-profit · Cheyenne, WY
For the neighbors who fall through the cracks.
We are hands-on, boots-on-the-ground. We help individuals in Cheyenne who other organizations in town do not or cannot — matching willing volunteers to real, everyday opportunities to serve.

01 — Who we are
Every need is an opportunity to serve.
Make A Difference Cheyenne exists to serve the individuals other organizations can't reach — the widow whose lawn is knee-high, the veteran facing a compliance notice, the family halfway through a move with nowhere to turn. We are volunteers from every race and every religion, doing the work with our own hands.

We also do not meet monetary needs. When a request falls outside our scope, we'll do our best to point you toward someone who can help.

05 — FAQ
Questions we hear often.
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit in Cheyenne, Wyoming. We help individuals who other organizations in town do not or cannot help — the people who fall through the cracks.
Hands-on, boots-on-the-ground help: walking dogs, smaller moves, mowing lawns for the elderly and veterans, sorting pantries, helping with compliance issues, and much more. We connect people to opportunities to serve.
Yes. We do not meet any needs that require a professional license (electrical work, plumbing, medical care, etc.) and we do not meet monetary needs. When something is outside our scope we try to point people in the right direction.
Absolutely. You can volunteer as an individual or as a family. Volunteers come from every race and every religion — anyone with a willing heart is welcome.
Because every need is our opportunity to serve others the way Christ did while He was here on earth. It reframes the work — we're not doing anyone a favor, we're being given a gift.
Yes. We want this to be a national organization. If you're in another city and want to start something like "Make A Difference St. Louis," we'll share our starter booklet at no cost and help you set it up. If you'd like us to travel to you, we only ask that travel and stay be covered — nothing extra.
